The location of this cottage is absolutely stunning, with wonderful views of the canal. Guests have praised the host for being warm, welcoming, and excellent in communication. the cottage is described as clean and tidy, with fresh bedding and a fantastic fire. the second bedroom layout is not ideal, as the low beds pose a risk of trips and falls. the cottage is perfect for a small family looking to explore the area.
The lack of maintenance in the cottage is a drawback, with faulty toilet flush, non-working heating, towel rail, and bathroom extractor fan.

Had an amazing Christmas getaway at a lovely cottage. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the communication was fantastic. The place was exceptionally clean and tidy, with a fantastic fire to keep us cozy. The bedding was fresh and comfortable, and we enjoyed wonderful views. We were also impressed with the location, which was conveniently located near the canal and offered great opportunities for exploring the surrounding area.
There were a few downsides to our stay. The layout of the second bedroom was a bit risky, as the beds were only inches off the ground, which could lead to potential trips and falls.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy atmosphere of the cottage. The beautiful decor and attention to detail made me feel right at home. The common areas were easily accessible for senior people like me, with plenty of comfortable seating and well-lit spaces to relax and chat with the other guests. It was such a delight to enjoy the lovely views of the canal from the cottage's windows. Truly a perfect setting for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
I would have appreciated if the children working there had taken more care in ensuring the safety of the accommodations for senior guests. Specifically, I found the beds in the second bedroom to be far too low to the ground, which posed a risk of trips and falls.
